It’s Monday: What Are You Reading is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey that showcases the books we hope to start and/or finish in the upcoming week.
I actually only managed to completely read one book last week:
- Rogue with a Brogue (review 9/16/14)
Hopefully this week will be better. Here’s what I have planned:
He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.
Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.
My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.
And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.
This adventurous duke…
The Duke of Marchford requires a suitable bride, but catching spies for the Foreign Office takes up most of his time. Not wanting to face another London season as an eligible man, he employs the notorious Madame X to find him a match.
Has met his match
Miss Penelope Rose knows the rules of marriage among members of the ton better than most. Her own unsuccessful attempts at matrimony did not stop her from becoming London’s most exclusive matchmaker. Marchford proves to be a difficult client, but as he draws on her social expertise to help him flush out a dangerous traitor, they find that falling in love may be the riskiest adventure of all.
I’m putting together my Master’s application packet right now, so things are probably going to slow down here just a bit. My apologies in advance. I should still be able to stick to my Tuesday/Friday review schedule, but Saturday reviews are probably off the table for a little bit.
So what are YOU reading this week? Let me know in the comments below!
